Features
Cam-Tite ball valves feature a unique nonspherical ball, which mechanically compresses the upstream and downstream seats which creates a tight, dependable seal regardless of line pressure.
- Top Entry Design
- Unique beveled edge ball design for long life, low torque and tight shutoff
- Available in many body and ball materials including ceramic balls
- Severe service bonnet to replace Bellows Seal Globe valves
- PTFE, RPTFE, UHMWP, and other materials
These valves also have an optional ceramic ball and bonnet with special extended and severe service configurations.
Applications
The combination of the patented sealing arrangement and the superior stem seal design has made the Cam-Tite ball valve a leader in severe services.
- Anhydrous HF Acid Service: Inconel 600 Bolted Bonnet, Inconel 718 Belleville washers, stainless steel rotational stop, virgin PTFE seats and seals
- Oxygen Service: Free from burrs, chips, and dirt, lubricated with DuPont Krytox GPL 206
- Dry Chlorine Service: LCB Body, Ceramic Ball, Severe Service Bonnet, A20 bolting, Vented Body instead of vented ball, 300#RF available in Globe Valve Takeout as well as Ball valve face to face.
These ball valves are also suitable for tough-to-handle substances, such as anhydrous ammonia, phosgene, anhydrous hydrochloric acid, and steam and many others.
