Norgren Herion Solenoid Valves

Solenoid valves are electromechanical devices that control the flow of liquids or gases. They can be found in processes for industries such as oil and gas, medical, and manufacturing.

Features

Herion solenoid valves consist of the following components:

  • Herion solenoid valves consist of the following components:
  • Actuation Mechanism: Solenoid/solenoid, solenoid/spring
  • Body Materials: Brass, stainless steel, aluminum
  • Seal Materials: PTFE, NBR, EPDM, Viton
  • Inlet/Outlet Ports: 1/8- to 3/8-inch, 3/2 and 5/2 configurations, with or without connectors
  • Pressure/Temperature Rating: .29 to 150 psi, -13 to 140 F

These valves operate under a range of common voltage supplies, including 120V AC, 120/60V AC, and 24V DC.

Benefits

Herion solenoid valves are excellent for processes such as oil and gas pipeline regulation and safety, water treatment chemical dosing, and automotive assembly line automation due to the following benefits:

  • Fast and Reliable Operation: Quick response times for automatic control systems
  • Precision: Allows for precise control of fluid flow
  • Versatility: Suitable for use with a wide range of fluids and gases
  • Low Power Consumption: Requires power only to change the valve state, not to maintain it

Solenoid valves are a safe means of controlling high pressures and hazardous materials that could harm workers and damage equipment.
